Subject: [alt-beam] SERVO FIXED thanx to you guys

yup went to bed last night cursin and even kicked the cat...
(ok, ok, yur right, i kick the cat every nite.)
sombody, don't know who, I deleated the message, mentioned that when the
leads to the servo's motor are crossed the tension increases. Now I know
my wiring was good and my h-bridge was good, soo i looked at the motor
itself and there it was.
(dramitic pause)
solder had from one lead was touching a little metal band that incircles
the small protrusion on the back of the motor. this little band is
connected to the other lead.
i quickly grabbed the "desoldering braid" (which by the way stock in the
company that makes this will go up do the fact that i am using so much of
it to correct my mistakes, so invest now) and walla the motor turns with
little resistance and werks with electric current. funny it would lock up
with no power... must be a magnetic thang.
now if ican jsut fix it so it turns more than just 180 degrees...

HA! thought i was serious din'tcha!
Thanx fer the help, didn't wanna spend anuther $10 bucks

-Sparky
