Subject: [alt-beam] Motor Driver
Ok, I'm serious. Is there any reccomendation for a motor driver?
H-bridge, Z-Bridge, 74hct IC chip? (miller's tutorial) ?
had two h-bridges free formed (per Beam-Online tutorial) werkin fine on the
bread board, plasti dipped them and they still werked fine. scrunched
them into my servo cases and one dosn't werk at all the other only for half
a pulse. something shorts when you squeeze it in that little space, and
squeeze down the top.. (thought pasti-dip would prevent this) looks like
damage is perminant. ...crap...
sooo. I got another 74hct IC left... should i try that?
what are the pros and cons?
guess i hafta use the IC cause i'm all out of 06 & 04 transistors and Rat
Shack dosn't have em, don't wanna pay a $5.00 handeling charge, plus
shipping fer $2 werth of transistors.
lemme know some thoughts.
