Subject: [alt-beam] Re: thoughts from a day at the zoo
One robot I've been designing (but not built) uses 4 legs that can lift
and drop, and can move forward and backward. by keeping the lift and
drop motion (so legs don't twist and drag) but stoping the forward
backward motion on one side, it can turn, or if you reveres one side,
it'll turn on a dime, but that's 8 motors (modified form similar to
Lynxmotion Hexapod II frame but 4 instead of 6 legs)
