There is, you need a degaussing gun. This is just a large iron rod with a
heap of turns of wire around it, connected to the mains. When you turn it
on, you get a kaleidoscopic pattern on the TV (If it's on) that can only
be described as trippy. You slowly move the gun away from the set, and it
de-magnetises the mask.

We have one at work, it is made inside a length of PVC pipe.

Speaking about putting them close to a monitor is there anyway to fix
the tv monitor ( theres a purple dot on it from a magnet )
