Item Description:
Not sure where to list this one, but here goes. This is the chassis, including motors and wheels of a "mouse" robot that was designed and built for the 1992 Society of Manufacturing Engineers maze competition. This robot happened to place first in that contest. Anyway, the brains have been removed, but I offer it as a solid platform for experimenting by the robotics hobbyist. The motors are (I believe) 6v DC gear type. The top has a connector built in. Nice rubber tires and ball casters allow it to turn within its own diameter. What that means is that you can connect a couple of SPDT switches via a long cable to the robot and viola!, remote control! Or, add a BASIC stamp and cut the cord. Limited only by your imagination. Size is approximately 5 3/8" dia., 3 1/2" high, weight 21.5 oz.

TERMS: Buyer pays actual shipping, UPS ground, 5 lbs., zip 43502, daily pickup service (you can find shipping cost at www.ups.com). If you need help figuring shipping costs, email me your zip code. Other carriers or services by arrangement and at extra cost to the buyer. Money orders get 24 hour turnaround, checks accepted if you are in no hurry (wait 10 days to clear). Winning bidder has 12 calendar days from the end of the auction to get payment to me or risk getting turned in as a deadbeat bidder (see http://pages.ebay.com/aw/help/help-faq-dbeat.html), plus getting negative feedback. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have, I am frequently connected and will answer as quickly as possible. Thanks and happy bidding!
