Sure. And to do that I'd need the pertinent schematic and
reasonable documentation, with the intended purpose/task/behaviour
on the first page(s).

How can you tell in this case? Not even the problem was clearly
stated.

Which, of course, is fine - you may even have the 6.X circuit and
mechanical spec on screen at this very moment. But I don't, it
appears that few others have the privilege, and I fail to see the
point of discussing a circuit without having a look at the
schematic. Call me oldfashioned...
