Subject: [alt-beam] symet with head?


Hey all,

I just took another look at the PBS video that with the Mark Tilden
appearance.. watch the section where Stryder walks over the smalller
bot... To me it (the smaller bot) seems as if it's a symet with an
attached light seeking head.. At the beginning of the scene you can see
the head rapidly swinging back and forth, then it stops and the symet
part kicks.. I think the direction it moves is based on the center of
balance when the head stops...

Has anyone ever experimented with this type of thing? (besides Mark) It
seems like a very unusual way to steer a bot around.. (probably not
really all that effective)


Anyhoo, I just thought I'd mention it since nobody else brought it up,
and I know some of you like to make those symets.. :)
