Dear Terry ,

I agree with your statement " whatever works for the builder is a good
solution " My statement " but I for one will stick with solar powered bots
without CPUs " was just that , a statement about what I like to do . That's
where my research is centered ( for better or worse ! ) . If certain people
had said " Hey , that Ed Jones likes to build bots without CPUs " and let
it drop there , that would be the end , at least for me , of this
discussion . But no , I receive an e-mail with a condescending attitude
saying I have a bias . Ok , I do , don't we all ? I also have a bias
against the income tax . Does that mean that I don't support our government
? Of course not !!

My statement " maybe you should go somewhere and start your own list " was
a knee-jerk reaction to the same drivel I have seen on this list over the
last few years ; I apologize to the list , I should have structured my
remarks in a different way . However Terry , take a close look at what some
of these people are really saying . On the one hand they are saying that
Beam should not have a anti-CPU bias . On the other hand , they are
forceing people like yourself to " declare " your bots non-beam and off
topic , thereby implying a anti-CPU bias exists anyway ! Worse than that ,
they are saying your " new designs along those lines are not welcome here "
Talk about a bias !!

I'm getting a headache , enough already . I hope this thread dies , finally
