Interesting thread, this...but.

In general I agree that the list would be more _fun_ if m.t. were to grace
us more often. If he does not see fit to do that at the moment, that's
understandable. He may be busy, he may have nothing to add at the moment,
as an educator he may be wisely allowing others to learn leadership, he may
be bored with our obsession de jour.

Frankly, certain aspects of our discourse can get pretty tedious. (I tend
to attribute that to some of the less desirable characteristics of thirteen
year boys. But I'm an old fogey. And besides there are _lots_ of admirable
qualities in the same group.)

But to be more specific about "Unicore BeamAnt schematic",
Can someone cooler than I advance this discussion toward the original topic
by contributing their own unicore schematic along with how it might be
special?

Along with discussing the _possible_ contents of m.t.'s mind, lets have
some more about this circuit's _actual_ why and how.

If m.t. were to approve it, I'd like to see Ian post on his site an actual
scan of this historical sketch that he holds in his sweaty little hands.
But if the list fulfills its mission as I understand it, that would be for
_historical_ edification of the faithful... as the community moves on to
ever cooler, new stuff.
