Subject: [alt-beam] New and improved RJP!!!
Hi all,
I just started on a revamped RJP.
I started with some cork board, put in on a table and pinned down
some edges, i've got some nice lengths of glass so i'll use those
instead soon. I put two tanks of water on one side, one has a
goldfish, the other can hold a small aquavore.
Then i covered the corkboard with gravel, only enough for a thin
layer, i'll have to get some more.
Lastly i stuck some cactus plants and a grow light in.
I put the photovore in there just to see what would happen, thinking
it would be useless in the gravel.
To my surprise it managed to move around the gravel just fine with
its small little feet. The growlamp makes it quite active too, i set
a timer on it to go from 9:30 to 6:30 every day, i think i might make
every second day a 'sleep day' to save power. It really looks alot
more intresting than other RJPs with all the gravel and rocks and
cactus, i'd like to add alot more including slopes.
What do you think?
