I have not used it in BEAm, but that circuit might do quite a nice job
for BEAM! It will charge, and when it's fairly full, trigger the UJT,
which sends a pulse to the SCR which LOCKS ON until the stored current
drops to below the SCR's hold on current. Sounds like an SE to me!!!
