IMHO, and from my own experience, I recon that people fiddle with FLED
poppers because of A. their simplicity compared to the suneaters and B.
Their availability compared to 1381's. When I started, I liked the
suneaters a great deal and said, "I want to build that first", I looked at
the circuit and then looked at the simplicity of a FLED se circuit and went
with that. I am a bare beginner.
