He most definitely does not have a monopoly, except in terms of BEAM robot
kits (I think he's the only one). I only bought solar cells and a miniball
sphere there because they were on special (it was around Christmas) and
because I couldn't find a miniball sphere the same size in my area. He has
very good motors and solar cells, but that doesn't mean he has the only
ones. I still scrape change together to get a cheap solar calculator every
now and then, but I get my motors from VCRs only. They are good, (a bit too
big for my current project), efficient motors, and I don't need pager
motors.
I just noticed how much we exaggerate here.
Anyhow, the list is NOT the place for such a discussion, so lets just drop
it.
