With regard to Ian's attempt to make the "ne plus ultra" of FAQ sites, I've
got two comments:
a) He ought to get the site he's got working properly/cleanly first.
Somehow, it reminds me of my local credit union -- they've made a huge deal
about changing their name but they've also produced at least four MAJOR
accounting blunders in the last six months. Getting it right first is far
more important than making it the biggest (which seems to be an important
part of Ian's mind-set.)
b) I'm a firm believer that a single point of failure is a bad idea.
Furthermore, there is a good chance that having several people maintain
their own FAQs leads to more diversity as to what information is covered.
