HIS rollerbot? Oh give me a break! M. C. Escher essentially came up with
the concept -- see House of Stairs, created a mere 48 years ago, at

perhaps based in some way on what I've always heard called "roly-polies" or
pillbugs, although there has been a more recent article about some critter
that alternates between walking and rolling as a form of transportation.
Lucas (or one of his minions) merely ripped off the idea.
