Subject: [alt-beam] Motors with Capacitors

Hi list,

I read on one of the sites out there (can't remember which) that motors with
internal capacitors don't work with, I think it was, FLED SEs. Now, most of the
motors I'm acquiring (hehe) seem to have these little caps either inside or
attached across the motor connections, and I was wondering:
1) why this stops the SE from working,
2) If there's anyway to modify the motor to fix it, like by removing or
shorting across the cap, and
3) If a different type of solar engine is immune to this problem.

As usual, any thoughts would be much appreciated.
