HI Everybody, This Beam stuff is great it has really kept my work bench
busy lately. I have noticed that allot of you dont get into using G-10
fiberglass for you designs (get away from using paper clips)this stuff
can be found at any plastic distributer. Has anyone used micro mini r/c
servo's I have found a couple of tiny ones. One of them has the torque
of 12 inch ozs.length of .86 width.43 and height.78. And the other is a
little bit bigger torque 30in oz's 29mmx14mmx29mm if you want to know
more let me know. I used to work in the hobby industry (hobby shop-and
also hobby distributer, anything that has a servo i most likely have it.
As far as gear motors on thing that is a easy source of finding some is
dumpster diving at copier sales offices(I used to work at one) as a tech
, what they do is throw whole copiers away in the dumpsters. To find
some of these tiny motors look in what called the #1 corona assembly,
they are used to spin a shaft that in turn cleans the corona wire. Oh
and i have a question for some of you fellow Beam people< has anyone
tryed the H-bridge from Digi-key #ZHB6718CT-ND in any of your projects i
have'nt had a chance to solder up mine yet. P.S. sorry this is so long
of a letter, I just got a new computer and this computer stuff is all
new to me i only do basic stuff on mine at work. Thanks Bob Pildner.
