Subject: [alt-beam] Microprocessor with serial interface

I know this isn't BEAM, but does anyone know of a microprocessor that uses a
serial interface to program it?

I have an iMac, with a PC emulator, but it can't cope with parallel ports.
(I have a USB-parallel adapter, but it doesn't work within RealPC).

I can run win95 and DOS programs that use a serial port. Any ideas?
