Maybe using some silicone sealant like they have in fish tanks would work.

But it can be done. THAT is what I'm looking for because I'm stubborn and
very interested in my current project. And while I don't know for certain, I
doubt that the results I'm looking for in this case COULD be achieved in
that manner, though thanks for your help.
