That is a very definite answer. Have you tried it? Why will it
not work.

Many times I find that the answers that are given on this list are
exclusionary and offer no reasoning for the respective answer. In my
mind I would believe that a FLED SE would work OK with a Bicore if a
large cap say 1 of 2 farad was used with an additional resistor to limit
the speed with which the charge is pulled out.

Lets try to have discussions about ideas and problems and try to keep an
open mind. If a FLED SE will not work how could it be modified to make
it work?

You can't, you need the PM1 SE.
