All told, this is rather odd because the circuit was detailed in a handout
at the
1997 Telluride Neuromorphics Workshop (as best as I can tell.) In other words,
it has been at least two years since Mark invented it (and I'm fairly certain
that it is covered by the patent -- you know what a pain I am about that!
)

Since I don't expect "Principia Robotica" to come out until I'm old and gray
(oops, I'm that already!) I guess it may be a very long time before the BEAM
community gets to hear about news that is already two years old...
