Yep thats dead right!
Sorry if my diagram was a bit incomplete. Ooops I just knocked it up quick.
Good luck with this circuit, the first time I built it, it took me a good
few hours debugging only to find out I had the transistor legs touching!

ps
I used a 10k trimpot and two 2.2k resistors in the circuit. (just to cut
down on your "tweaking" time).
