They are Canon "DG12" gearmotors, with a 1:136 gear reduction. A beautiful
little unit, designed for 6-12V operation, although they'll run much lower
than that. They don't have much compliance (can't be back-spun thru the
output shaft easily), which makes them less desirable for walkers, but they
are EXCELLENT for turbots. But don't let that stop you from using them for
walkers - they're still overall good gearmotors.
