A very interesting article was posted to the list by Wilf Rigter (about
February 17th) and can be found at the BEAM emailing list archive (address
below) using a search on "beam ecology". This topic has been fairly
popular for at least a year now and there is a site (although I can't
remember the address just this moment, alas!) that has a few pages devoted
to it.
