Subject: [alt-beam] Omron Motors for $7.50 (All Electronics DCM-110)
Hello all, and speaking of all, All Electronics is selling OMRON Gear
Motors for $7.50 each! Thay are like the eject motors used in Macintosh
Floppy Drives. All says they come with hookup documentation, and are in
good condition. I wouldn't be suprised if Apple needed to dump the stock
of parts? Not saying the came from Apple, but they could have come from
the manufacturer that used to make their drives, since Apple no longer
adds them to therir computers.
I'm not definitely sure they are Mac Eject motors, but they sure look
like them,a nd they have the same operation (normal DC motor operation
and a 1 revolution initiated by a pulse opperation).
I believe they are worm gear driven, like Dennison's motors, but they
are still useful. If you need some motors, now might be your chance! I'm
stuffed for motors, so I figured, I'll let you guys buy these out of
stock (sorry bout buying all the BG Micro Motors from All Elec!!! Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!
I love Macs! Source for usable motors, and I'm playing Dune on DVD and
I'm doing my e-mail, and Watching TV, all at once!!!! Cool! I love my
Mac! (:
