Now that I've got your attention,, ;o)

Ok list for the most part I lurk, content to remain in
the shadows reading and learning.
Now I need help, My Boss is leaving, the guy that taught
me all about telco systems,
about LANS, WANS and just about everything that can be
networked. So I wanted to
make him a going away present, a "photopopper mouse".... Ok
to the point,, neither
motor fires until I touch the motor side of the resistor
with the + probe of a multi meter (
- is gong to the neg. side of the cap.). The corresponding
motor fires depending on which
res. I touch. I have to have this up and working by
Monday........please help if you
can....This problem is something new to me!( I'm used to a
popper walking around it a circle etc.)

Now about brass gears,,, has anyone explored fishing reels?
...... if my memory serves
me right many contain brass gears and at right angles to one
another... just a thought..
