Heh, if I meant to hoard them I wouldn't have said anything :)
The ones I've been buying have been from the 'miscellaneous' boxes
at the back. I think they're probably the ones that go unsold or are broken
or something. I haven't seen two at a time there yet, but each time
I've gone back there's been another there. In fact, I saw some guy
bringing in an old one to sell just as I was leaving today. They must
cycle through merchandise pretty rapidly.
The three I've got so far have been of different makes I think, but
the motors inside seem to be made by the same manufacturers.
The motors I mentioned that have the same dimensions are pretty
much identical, save some minor variation in length of the shaft.

Ya, I saw that. Should come in handy when I get around to building
'bots that require motor drivers. I'm just at the photovore stage so far.
