Appreciated is a little harsh there Dave. If you mean by those that could use
the information, I'm not so sure. If you mean by the hierarchy of BEAM it
would seem you have a point. Paul Beckingham's site has definitely added to
the BEAM critter population. It is the main reason Chiu has that tutorial on
how to build the Fangovore (funny how that terminology became so accepted
when it illustrates exactly what I'm saying, even though similar situations
are rejected). And is one of the main reasons those critters in Fang's
contest are changing. But, I guess for all he's contributed, Paul should just
twist in the breeze out there. Fine. I just thought a detailing of how a
Fangovore benefited from the organization of Paul's methods merited some kind
of recognition in the BEAM history. Think of what would happen to the
population of these beasties if Beckingham's approach to methodology
multiplied by 10 or 20 fold. That's only one example of how designs innovate
the approach. All I'm suggesting is a method to realize and document those
approaches.
