Well said!
I would suggest that the tasks, or trials actually, would be elements of
real world applications. Maybe rather than start with the whole game of
soccer we might start with finding the ball first.
There are already maze solving and fire-fighing contests. Why re-invent
the
wheel?
I think we need to create a series of trials that mimic real world
behaviors
of insects and other simple animals. After all, the goal is evolution!
