Subject: [alt-beam] BugBrain - cool W95 software

Hello all,
This might be slightly off-topic but has beam implications..
I found this program called "BugBrain" at www.download.com, it
allows the user to build a neural net to control a simulated
ladybug in a simulated world. The neurons it uses aren't the
nervous kind, but rather "ordinary" neurons with adjustable
threshholds and synapses with adjustable weight (positive or
negative for inhibit) and decay. The world is a branch which
the robot ladybug must navigate around without falling off,
eat all the aphids while avoid being eaten by a bird. Fun!
