Subject: [alt-beam] BEAM Careers
Greetings List,
Been away for Easter but I'm back.
Here's the thing, at my school we're having a research project on our career
of choice. It started out as just "shadowing", that is following around, a
person with a career we may choose on their average work day. I "shadowed" a
guy that built new systems and repaired broken ones at a local computer
store. Not exactly what I plan to do the rest of my life but it was something
realistic for the project at hand.
Problem is that I don't know what that job is called and I am having
a hard time finding usefull resources on it.
Of course, many of you have technical careers. I am interested in
what information you can supply about your career. Anything would be nice. It
would also be great if you could tell me what that job is called (computer
repair man?) and point me to any resources you of it.
Any other information boarding this topic would be excellent.
