Subject: [alt-beam] Servo controller in EDN
The April 1 edition of EDN Magazine has a Design Idea using a 555 timer to
control an R/C hobby servo given a 0 to 5 VDC control voltage. (There is also a
version that uses a +/-12V control voltage.) Apparently this circuit was used in
the Canada FIRST contest and was designed for the Carlton School Board team.
Article is on page 101-102.
On another topic, has anyone ever used a "Big Inch" motor in place of an OTU or
in some other way?
