Subject: [alt-beam] PortEscap
I can get my hands on a pair of PortEscap motors for $60. These things are
12mm wide and 44mm long. They draw 5mA at 6v and should be able to run lower
then 3v so they would work with walkers. They have a 1044:1 planetary
gearbox. it says 68 RPM at 6v but it should be about perfect at 3v. Is $30
each a good price? I know the PortEscap motors on Walkman are $300 each, so i
figure these are pretty good deal. Anyone interested in buying some with me?
