A freind of mine used to work for a lighting company, he always came home
with "keychain" samplers of different light filters. these were 1" x 2"
samples of plastic filters to use on spot lights in the movie and
photography business. you may be able to get such samplers [there were about
50 different types on each keychain] from local distributers. Also check
camera and photography shops.
These samples ranged from simple colored to holographic, Diffused, Metallic
reflective etc...
