I think the idea of teamwork really bogs the BEAM stuff down. I understand
that sure you can make more and more different types of "tags" for the ball
and the bots and the Goals, but Thats still complicated. Each robot has a
tag, and at the very least, that two different types for two teams. Two
different ones for two goals, And another for the ball. Five different
signals that the bots have to process and work out. Heres a SLIGHT
simplification. Paint the Soccer field flat BLACK. As well as painting the
robots flat (non-shiney) black. Get a nice and clean white golf ball. My
prototype soccer bot can easilly distinguish between light and dark paper.
So a golf ball seems possible. That way, the bots are directed twads the
ball, by perhpas a specific set of sensors oriented a specific way, and then
when It does have the ball, set the robot out to search for a white or IR
tagged Goal. That would simplify things. Remeber, KISS. Keep it simple
Stupid. Thats important.

Now Since I really had something to say, onto the spam:

Also, there is this service that by doing a little advertising on your
computer will actually pay you money for this. Seriosuly, it's legitamte was
to earn a small amound of extra cash, which is about 10 or 20 bucks a month.
But it's still money.
