i have had a project just like that on the board for the last few months. I
might have found some really lowpower (2v) selenoids that are smaller then
pager motors. My design uses on solar engine and but the key is a ball in the
center with a blob of mercury that will activate the selenoid that is facing
down. I was going to use a pyramid shape, but that would depend on how strong
these selenoids are. I'll tell you how it turns out....
