My five motor design was influenced by the components I had lying around in my
junkbox.

I think Mark's Walkman has two rows of IC's under the walkman top plate. One
74XX24? mux per motor and two 74XX14 chips for Microcore and Nu's. That's just
my educated guess so don't take my word for it.
