Well, about soccer bots and the RC car that someone on the list mentioned
recently (home machine is dead so I dont know who)
The RC car seems like a pretty good "hackable" robot platform -
pretty cheap, readily available at yardsales etc
it also has a hardware "API" in the form of the RC interface electronics-
I have been considering a "Beam symbiont" bot to ride on the RC car I have
and it seem like it might work well for soccer bots as well
The "brain/symbiont" would be a BEAM critter that just sent pulses to the
existing
RC circuitry of the host machine , instead of driving its own motors. A
power monitoring circuit and Cybug-like feeding behavior sound good too to
keep the host
functioning.
Any ideas? (I'm still electronically-challenged)
