Subject: [alt-beam] Personality

My name is Dennison Bertram. I'm 17, but soon to be 18. I've been
interested in robotics since I used to take apart clock radios and
television sets. Before BEAM I was midly interestedin computer based
robotics. Although they never seemed as fun. (Yep, I have some basic stamps,
unfinished hc11 boards and a nice, and now dusty, 80c52 basic
microcontroller. Which is really actually very neat. And I will use it some
day.) My interestes are very broad. As some of you might have noticed from
searching around the index of my home page server (you know who you are!
:->) I'm a writer of poetry. Although I'm moving away from poetry and trying
to hone my skills so I can write myself a novel. I've done a screenplay, but
I'm not particularly satisfied. I think the coolest thing (even cooler than
building robots!) would be to write the next great american novel. That way
english teachers teach my book after Salinger and before Camus. Besides
literature, I rollerblade, snowboard, play piano, work at a supermarket, do
homework and aspire to great things. Right now I'm in the turbulence of
picking a college. (FUN FUN) No I'm not pulling a MIT here. (Although my
friend got in, and I think I'll got for grad school.) But hey, it's not
cheap. I'm looking for something more along the lines of a few bucks. I'm
basically a typical teen. Hang out at parties and woo women from across the
room. (Ok maybe not from all the way across :->) So, you know. I build
robots when I can. And even more infrequently update my web page.

Dennison
