Subject: [alt-beam] correction
OK, I shopped around on the web and came up with a FischerTechnik solar
kit for only $90US.
Also check out www.fischertechnik.de(click on "englisch"). The
Fischertechnik sets aren't as expensive as Mondo-Tronics sells them for,
and they are VERY nice. Not just the solar set. I'm thinking about
getting theri walking machines or pneumatic set and fooling with them. I
might also get the cartevh set and try to build some bots with it. It
even comes with a u-joint, like in a real car!
You should all check out the site just for fun, anyway...
I think Fischertechnik would be good for making very durable nots, even
if they aren't very cheap...

Ps. I have a DigiKey catalog, but the thing is so darn big its easy to
miss things...
I also get the All Electronics catalog, but the only solar cells I've
seen in it weren't all that great...
