Hello Everyone,
The name here is Chip and as of tomorrow, the 27th., I'm 48 years old. I am=
married and have 1 daughter who will be a junior at Indiana University in =
Bloomington, Indiana. I have lived here in Kokomo, Indiana since I was tran=
sferred here from Detroit in 1990. I have worked for General Motors and now=
Delphi Delco Electronics Systems since 1972. I supervise several groups th=
at are involved with the microprocessors used in automotive applications as=
well as communications and GPS devices. I have transferred as a GM employe=
e several times, my home is Chicago, Illinois. I have a degree in Physics a=
nd Electrical engineering from a school in the Boston, Massachusetts area. =
I have always been interested in electronics and mechanical things as well=
as the intermingling of the two as in robotic applications. I was license=
d as an amateur radio operator when I was 10 years old and still hold a lic=
ense, K9MIT. I have been tinkering with BEAM principles now for about 3 ye=
ars and it amazes me what a couple of capacitors, resistors and a couple of=
low torque motors can do. The concept and principles underlying the Nervou=
s Net are completely absorbing and a source of constant investigation and e=
xperimentation.
I also love cars......drag raced for many years....until I couldn't afford =
it anymore....read that as had a daughter. I still am heavily involved in m=
echanical areas at work and for the past 15 years been on the ASE test writ=
ing committee, the group that writes the certification tests for automotive=
technicians. =
