SunEater_2 is just a kind of Solar Engine, not a 'bot. And are you
sure that Mabuchi motor is any good? Connect it to a power supply
set to zero volts. Slowly turn up the voltage until it starts
running. This should happen at half a volt or less, at a current of
40mA or less. When running free at 0.5V it should consume less than
20mA.
As to idea's for a SunEater_2-based `bot, have a look at
SunEater_III:
http://people.ne.mediaone.net/bushbo/beam/suneater/suneater.html
Or http://www.xs4all.nl/~sbolt/Other/suneater.html
And you might want to have a look at SunEater_IV:

Enjoy your first `bot!
