Use preferrably a temperature-controlled soldering iron, or for
small work, a 16W type - and a pointy tip, not a `screwdriver'
blade.

Use resin-cored solder, about 0.7mm thick.

Push the things to be joined together. Push the hot and tinned tip
against the joint. Wait one second. Ease a little good solder
against the joint, touching the tip as well. Allow sufficient but
not too much solder to flow. Remove solder and iron, wait a couple
of seconds, let go of the joint.

Best,

Steve
