a TABLE is always followed by an implied line-break

here is an example:

this is inside the table

and set to a width of 20%

and uses the default alignment to the left

this is another TD cell inside the table

but aligned to the right this time

and set to a width of 80%

this is outside the table... notice the line-break which happens after a
table
