Wow what a rush on the beam chat no wonder it's quiet on the list.
anyway here are some ideas: If the bicore oscillates but can not drive
the motor try for 3 cells (4.5V). I assume the bicore worked ok with the
resistor but maybe not with the PDs. I always use the photodiodes in
series (cathode to cathode or anode to anode). I never understood the
parallel arangement but some claim it works so .... I guess I'm missing
something.
