Subject: [alt-beam] BEAM + PIC = good design (now posted to web)
I posted my latest robot project to my web site today.
Everything is in one huge PDF file (and I mean huge; 6.8 megs;
I'll have to work out a better method of distribution later).
There are LOTS of pictures.
It uses a PIC but with several BEAM concepts:
- passive sensors (photoresistors)
- touch sensors (from guitar strings)
- hobby servos
- solid mechanical design as top priority
It works really well. The 'bot will be my entry into a local
maze-navigating contest. The 'bot is called Light Species
Derivative I.
