Subject: The Gearmotors are in!

=

I got my first glimps of the gear motors I will begin distributing toda=
y. They are nice tiny motors that are VERY torquey. I have't been able to s=
top the big gear with my fingers yet. So here is the info, which I will be =
posting to my web site latter tonight. (I have to go to work right now.) I'=
ve also included a small 7kb picture of it at the bottom of this message. M=
y ISP is being a jerk right now and I figured people wouldn't mind that muc=
h for a picture. =

=

Here are the stats:
=

About 30 RPM (Perfect!)
2.5v-6.5v
Small size: There is a ruler in the picture
Low current
High torque.
The initial gear is a worm gear, so if your really into trying to get s=
ome feedback, which is very minimal anyway, and so far dosen't seem to be a=
real fact, these will dampen feedback. Otherwise they are perfect for that=
first walker or spyder robot you've been wanting to build. As I said, they=
have a nice speed and very high torque.
=

The price is 11 dollars each. The shipping was originally only going to =
be about a dollar, but I was at the post office today and found out that it=
will cost a little bit more than that. So I have to charge two dollars for=
shipping on two motors, and still only fiftey cents for each additional mo=
tor. If you want insurance on the babies, that cost's 85 cents. But it's a =
good idea, so if the package never shows up at your door you don't have to =
grill me for not sending it. You simply tell me and the post office sends m=
e money, and I get you some more gearmotors. So I think I'll make insurance=
a nessesity. It protects both parties. E-mail me for more info, or =
