What! You mean that it isn't on one of your pages already, Ian??? That
is hard to believe!

p.s. self making bed issues:

(a) how do the members know which way they ought to go?
(b) how do they know when to stop?
(c) can they avoid tangling if they have to pass each other?
(d) would a measurement of tension in several directions (similar to how
spiders measure vibrations differentially on a web) be useful and how
would it be implemented?
(e) perhaps it would be a good idea to have at least one line of
communication between the members, or perhaps a central "controller"?
(f) would they be able to obtain enough power from an induction coil if
they are "wadded in a lump"?

In reply to the notion of having bedclothes gather around you (which
really IS rather creepy) I invite you to read "Time Is The Simplest
Thing" by Clifford D. Simak if you can find a copy.
