Greetings List,

There are many, many new BEAM sites springing up, and recently there has been
a boom. My site was part of this boom, in fact. I the only gripe I have with
this is a small one: Most of these new sites have no content. Many of them
even stay that way, forever. Remember, this is just something I've noticed
that I find semi-annoying. I am not targeting any site so please, no hot-head
responses to this.

I don't know exactly what you are talking about... There doesn't seem to be
much if any "crap" on this list. The new website stuff is perfectly relevent.
And about Steve's O-scope, I don't consider that crap, perhaps slightly off-
topic but not too far.

Yeah...some of that stuff is annoying but I don't even have to get up to push
the "delete" key and I doubt that anyone else does. Without some "fluff" this
would be reduced to a simple question and answer forum, yawn. I don't think
anyone wants that.

Well, thats right. This is a waste of bandwidth and I was seriously
considering not sending anything. I am one of those that gets 40-100 emails
per day, but the delete key is just a click away. It doesn't take too much
time out of my day to click a few times.

Agreed. However, I would say that all conversation I have encountered here is
of general BEAM interest. I don't think there is much to get all bent up
about.
