I have to disagree. Most of these site have photos of their bots! So
instead of "clogging" the list with tons of details on different robots
they just post the URL. I love to check out the web sites. Are you saying
that this type of messages should only be sent to me and fang? That would
mean if someone on the list wanted to see a new BEAM web site they would
be required to go to a BEAM news site?

I think thats a little extreme. There's only a few messages a week that
"shouldn't" be on the list.

Which is good

Right, some messages that don't have anything to do with BEAM shouldn't
be posted to the list. Lets just say the one on how to make an LED-O
scope is an example. It was ok, but just anyone in the future should
think about only e-mailing me and fang so we can put it in the BEAM news.

Yes the new poll didn't relate to BEAM (in a way) but I wanted to post
the results for last weeks poll so web page builders could get an idea of
what type of info people want so they could improve their sites so BEAM
could continue to evolve. I wasn't going to post the poll to the list
every week (I have it on my web site). Only if it was something I felt
that the BEAM community could benefit from.

>IF YOU HAVE A WEB SITE, OR ARE STARTING A NEW ONE, JOIN THE BEAM RING -
>DON'T CHEW BANDWITH HERE.
I think that just slows down the growth of BEAM. Not as many people would
look at the sites. Hits would be reduced and new ideas would be prolonged.

I've seen a huge growth in BEAM over the last few months!
I'd like to hear what everyone thinks about this.
